How do I schedule an appointment?
We have appointment staff to assist you in making an appointment. When you call, our appointment staff will ask you a few questions regarding your medical needs. This is to help us schedule the appropriate amount of time with the doctor. Giving thorough information when making the appointment may help you avoid having to schedule another appointment at a later time to address additional needs. Please have your insurance information available when you are calling to schedule your appointment. It is best to arrive twenty minutes early for your appointments in order to complete or update patient information. We ask new patients to arrive thirty minutes early to fill out required information. If you arrive fifteen minutes late for a regularly scheduled appointment or five minutes late for a procedure you may be asked to reschedule at the physician's discretion. If you must cancel an appointment, please call us as soon as you become aware that you are unable to keep it. We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. We would like to help you re-schedule, and your previous slot can then be given to another patient.
How do I request a prescription refill?
Your Doctor or Physician Assistant are trying to help you receive your prescriptions when you need them. Please help by remembering to bring ALL your medications with you to your office visits so your Doctor or Physician Assistant can make sure what you are taking is accurately noted in your medical record. It is also best if you ask for medication refills at the time of your office visits. Your medication has been prescribed for a recommended amount of time; therefore, if you are out of medication without any refills it usually means you need to schedule an office visit to see how you are doing. You should call the office to schedule an appointment so the Doctor or Physician Assistant can be sure your medication is helping you by working appropriately. If you will run out of a medication before your next scheduled office visit check with your Pharmacy to see if you have any remaining refills. If your prescription has expired and you have already seen your Doctor or Physician Assistant, we ask that you request your Pharmacy to send us a refill request. If you use mail order prescriptions and you have routinely seen the Doctor or Physician Assistant as recommended then you may request written prescriptions by calling the office and asking for the medication refill line. Leave your request per the instructions on the recording. When the prescriptions are ready our office staff will call you. MEDICATION REFILLS TAKE 24-48 HOURS.
